Public Works

The Public Works Department provides services and facilities for the citizens of Martinsville, including road paving, clearing and maintenance, refuse and bulk trash collection, engineering, building maintenance, fleet maintenance, public recycling, and supply stock.

Public works employees are among the most visible of Martinsville's representatives because of the types of work they do and the location of that work throughout the city.

Martinsville's Public Works Department strives to provide citizens with service quickly, efficiently and reliably. Our central office is located in Room 226 of the Municipal Building, on the top level near housing services.
